We had been talking about overhauling our website for years, always wanting a level of customisation that wasn’t available with our previous site.

After Michael had such a fantastic experience working with Jin & Co for his author website, we knew they’d be ideal for this project.

Working from an exceptionally long wishlist, we were able to get exactly what we wanted, realised with more ease and finesse than we imagined was possible. Jin’s thoroughness and speed in responding were outstanding.

Moving from a Circlesoft-based website to an integrated system that uses WordPress as a wrap-around for the Circlesoft shop, means that we now have all the control we wanted, without losing any of the work we’d put into curating lists etc in Circlesoft.

I’m particularly unskilled when it comes to All Things Technology, and especially websites. For years, I’d been using the most basic of designs (right back to before I was published and all I needed was a simple blog) because that was all I could get my head around. But then my career grew and I began to realise that I desperately needed something more sophisticated and also more suited to the different things I wanted to highlight on my website, so I decided a revamp was necessary!

I mean, Jin’s managed to transform my old website into a thing of beauty, so there’s no area where he hasn’t helped me in regards to this creation! Plus it’s all so easy for me to update and maintain from here on out, which means I can make any changes I want at any point, and still have everything looking amazing!

In the beginning, I wasn’t confident a custom design could be delivered. But Jin rose to the occasion and proved me wrong!

The first time I saw the drafted site in a working and editable model was amazing. There was such a “wow” factor about that moment. But there were other little moments all the way along, too, like choosing a font and discussing different template designs and talking about fancy things like carousels and embedded trailers and drop-down links and “buy now” buttons and newsletter sign-up forms and favicons (that’s a new word I’ve learned through this!) — the list is endless. So it was just a really awesome experience from beginning to end.
