The Problem

Tigest was preparing to launch her debut YA fantasy novel, Immortal Dark, and needed a site that could do more than just showcase a single book. She wanted an immersive space that reflected the mood and mythology of her story—black vampires, ancient rivalries, and a haunted university—and that could grow with her as new books were released.

Tigest found us while researching author websites and was drawn to the way our designs captured a strong sense of atmosphere. She liked that we specialised in working with authors, understood the publishing space, and offered flexible designs that could be tailored to her book’s world. She’d seen two designs in particular—Kendra and Sara—and wanted to blend elements of both to match her vision.

The Design

From the start, Tigest had a clear aesthetic: gothic, cinematic, and layered with detail. We customised her homepage to include an interactive book showcase, fog overlays, glowing effects, and a gold-gated footer that mirrors the setting of her novel. Her book page highlights multiple editions and audiobooks, and the character page introduces key figures in the story with custom art and voice. The result is a bold, dramatic design that feels like part of the Immortal Dark universe.

The Outcome
